ACLS Renewal

The American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) renewal class is intended for those who have had an ACLS provider class in the past and are looking to renew their card. Rhythms, pharmacology, and algorithm knowledge is required. An AHA ECC Handbook 90-1000 is highly recommended for study and can be purchased during the enrollment process, or online through Laerdal. AHA ACLS cards will be issued at the completion of class and are good for two years. Maximum enrollment for this course is 6 students.

Required Course Preparation

In addition to studying your AHA ECC Manual, please visit the AHA ACLS Student Website (use the password provided to you upon registration) and complete the following:

• Complete the Pre-Course Assessment and print out your test results
• Study the supplementary material and review the addtional 5 videos on the AHA ACLS Student Website as needed

Cancellation & Transfer Policy

CPR Seattle does not offer refunds for ACLS courses once your registration is complete. Transfers are allowed if requests are received more than 48 hours before the class start time. Only one transfer per registration will be permitted. Proficiency in English is required to participate in, and receive a certification card for the class. The presence of a translator does not waive this requirement. Translators are not permitted in class. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late to class will not receive a certification card, or be eligible for refund or transfer.
