The American Heart Association BLS instructor course certifies the participant to teach the AHA "BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers & Professional Rescuers" in addition to all the AHA Heartsaver programs including: adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR, AED use, first aid, pediatric CPR/first aid, and bloodborne pathogens. Students complete an AHA core instructor program at home (program sent to students upon enrollment), and then attend the one-day training at CPR Seattle.

Cancellations received more than 48 hours before class start time will receive a full refund less $10 service fee. Requests received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund or transfer. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late to class will not receive a certification card, or be eligible for refund or transfer. Proficiency in English is required to participate in, and receive a certification card for the class. The presence of a translator does not waive this requirement. Translators are not permitted in class.
