The American Heart Association BLS instructor course certifies the participant to teach the AHA "BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers & Professional Rescuers" in addition to all the AHA Heartsaver programs including: adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR, AED use, first aid, pediatric CPR/first aid, and bloodborne pathogens. Students complete an AHA core instructor program at home (program sent to students upon enrollment), and then attend the one-day training at CPR Seattle. Instructor candidates must be evaluated teaching an AHA course before certification is issued.

Please note that the cost of the required materials, other than the core course, are not included in the cost of the BLS instructor course.
