Thank you for your interest in CPR Seattle. Our classes are fun, thorough, and taught by professional trainers who keep things enjoyable. In fact, student surveys continually comment that our training program is "the best they have ever taken"! All courses meet state (WISHA) and federal (OSHA) standards. AED Training

Healthcare Provider CPR (2.5 - 3 hours)

American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare professionals covers CPR and AED use for adults, children, and infants. Students also learn how to clear airway obstructions, use a bag valve mask, and to perform 2 rescuer CPR.

Adult CPR Certification (1.5 - 2 hours)

Learn the essentials that will help you save a co-worker or loved one from illness or trauma! Although this course deals with life threatening emergencies, CPR Seattle instructors keep classes fun. Adult CPR certification allows you to master the following skills:

All students receive a full color manual to keep, and are issued a certification card that is valid for two years. This course meets all OSHA/WISHA standards for layperson CPR.

Adult, Child, Infant CPR Certification (1.5 - 2 hours)

This class covers all the essentials that can help save an adult, child, or infant from life-threatening illness and trauma. As always, we keep our classes fun - most of your time will be spent practicing on mannequins, and participating in real life scenarios. This class ensures that you master the following skills:

Adult, Child, Infant CPR & First Aid Certification (4 hours)

In 2005, national and international CPR standards were changed in order to simplify responder care. One of the biggest changes was streamlining adult, child, and infant protocol so that they are all essentially the same. Most of your time will be spent practicing on mannequins, and participating in real life scenarios. CPR Seattle keeps this class fun while being thorough. You will master the following skills:

AED Training and Certification (add to any CPR classs)

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone whether you are an adult or a child, even if there is no previous history of heart disease. AED stands for Automatic External Defibrillator. It is a portable device found on airplanes, in airports, on golf courses, and in an increasing number of public places. It is much easier to learn and use than CPR. It is designed to deliver a lifesaving shock to children or adults experiencing cardiac arrest (which can happen even if the patient the absence heart disease).

You can add on AED training to our adult CPR and first aid programs as well as our adult, child, infant CPR and first aid programs. You will be issued a card that meets all OSHA/WISHA standards that is valid for two years.

Adult CPR/First Aid

As with all our classes, adult CPR and first aid training is taught in a fun, relaxed manner with easy to remember protocol that allows you to act in an emergency. Much of our class time in spent practicing on manikins, or doing "real-life" scenario training. The following skills will be covered.
