Wilderness First Aid Scenario Practice

The Wilderness First Aid Scenario Practice class is designed for those who have taken a WFA class before but would like extra practice. This scenarios presented in the course will be driven by the interest of the students and the environment they work / recreate in. Students must have a good working knowledge of the Patient Assessment, and a have had a Wilderness First Aid class in the previous 4 years.

Cancellation, Refund, and Transfer Policy / Terms and Conditions

Cancellations, Refunds, Transfers:
Cancellations by individuals received more than 48 hours before class start time will receive a full refund less a $10 service fee per enrollment for traditional learning courses and $20 service fee per enrollment for blended learning courses. Individuals are eligible to transfer their class registration if the request is received more than 48 hours before class. Refunds will not be issued if transferring to a class of lesser tuition. Only two date transfers per registration are allowed; refunds will not be issued for class registrations that have been transferred more than twice. Cancellations by groups* received more than 10 days before class start time will receive a full refund less a $10 service fee per enrollment for traditional learning courses and $20 service fee per enrollment for blended learning courses. Requests received after the stated deadlines will not be eligible for a refund or transfer. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late to class will not receive a certification card, or be eligible for refund or transfer. Proficiency in English is required to participate in and receive a certification card for the class. The presence of a translator does not waive this requirement. Translators are not permitted in class.

*A group is 4 or more individuals signed up by one person or organization for the same class session.

Group Training:
Training is presented in a group setting and the instructor will proceed at the pace of the average student. In the event that the pace is too fast for an individual and that individual has difficulty passing a physical or written skills test, the class instructor might not have time after class to work with that individual. However, CPR Seattle will do everything possible to ensure that the student is confident with the course material and has extra opportunities to practice and retest. In addition to other possible options, the student is welcome to take the class again at no additional charge.

By registering for your class, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure exists in any enclosed space where people are present, and there is an increased risk of contracting coronavirus/COVID-19 during your training session. You understand the risks involved with becoming exposed to and/or infected by coronavirus/COVID-19. By attending your training you voluntarily assume all risks related to the exposure and infection of COVID-19 and agree not to hold CPR Seattle LLC or any of its affiliates, directors, officers, agents, employees, or contractors liable for any illness or injury. You agree you will not attend class if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms that you cannot attribute to another condition: fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, shortness of breath, headache, new loss of taste or smell, cough, fatigue, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea. You agree to not attend class if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and have yet to be cleared as non-contagious by a medical professional.
