Blended vs Traditional CPR & First Aid Class

Blended CPR & First Aid Training

When you take a Blended Learning CPR & First Aid class, you are required to do online training prior to your scheduled classroom session. Simply click on the link you receive upon enrollment, and take your time learning the academic material from the comfort of your own home, starting and stopping the program as needed. The entire in-person classroom session is devoted to skills practice and questions. Once you complete the online and the in-person class components, you will be issued a digital certification card from the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), and you will have access to the digital book for the course.

CPR Seattle offers the following courses in a Blended Learning format:

Adult, Child, Infant CPR & First Aid (4.5 hours online* / 2.75 hours in person)
Adult CPR & First Aid (3.5 hours online* / 2.25 hours in person)
First Aid (3 hours online* / 1.25 hours in person)

Babysitter Training Class & Certification (2 hours online* / 2.5 hours in person)

*Please note that the timing of the online course is an estimate. The exact timing will vary depending on the learner.

Traditional CPR & First Aid Training

When you enroll in a Traditional Learning CPR & First Aid class all you need to do is attend your scheduled classroom session; no work is required before class. Most of our Traditional Learning Classes are taught through the American Heart Association, but please consult the course page you wish to enroll in for specifics.
