Babysitter Training Class & Certification
This 2-part blended learning babysitting certification class is a fun, interactive workshop providing aspiring babysitters the essential skills they must know in order to obtain babysitting work. For part-1, students will do a two hour online training program. For part-2 students will come to CPR Seattle for role play, instructor-led discussions, and hands-on skills training to give them the confidence to responsibly care for the infants and children in their charge. There are no prerequisites for this course, however it is designed for children between the ages of 11 and 15. An ASHI (American Safety and Health Institute) "Child and Babysitting Safety" certification card is issued upon completion of the training. A babysitters ebook is included.
This class includes a CPR review and practice session, but does not include CPR certification. Learn more about the benefits of babysitting and the babysitters training class.
